## What Just Get Skills is
Just Get Skills (JGS) is a Skill-Link engine. A Skill-Link is a specific reusable skill, process or ability from something a person already knows that can help them learn or perform something new.

## Method
JGS resolves a source skill and target skill, decomposes them into observable subskills, abilities and mechanisms, and prefers the smallest defensible reusable unit. It penalises generic links such as focus, discipline, patience, persistence, teamwork, communication and generic problem solving when a more specific mechanism is available.

## Evidence boundaries
An explicit mapped Skill-Link is a relationship in the JGS runtime, not proof that transfer will occur. Mechanism overlap is an inference, not direct pairwise causal evidence. Ranking scores order candidate routes; they are not probabilities of success. JGS can return no sufficiently useful transferable advantage when the evidence is too weak.
